House M.D. DS News || Reporting Gamer column on Game People

House brings medical mystery back to the DS in a sleuthing puzzle game that draws heavily on the show's famous format.

Hugh Laurie's grumpy curmudgeon makes its way to DS with House, M.D. You take on a series of typically convoluted medical mysteries at the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.

In a game that looks to fall between Ace Attorney and Hotel Dusk careful observation and analysis is key. By tracking down, interviewing and examining patients, doing lab tests and surgery you need to reach the correct diagnosis.

Five fresh cases are included for Dr. House and his team of experts to solve. Each has its own detailed locations and storyline and encompass around 100 minigames.

You play alongside characters from the show including the unconventional Dr Gregory House, Lisa Cuddy, Eric Foreman, Robert Chase, Allison Cameron, Chris Taub and Remy 'Thirteen' Hadley.

House M.D. is released on Nintendo DS on December 10th for GBP19.99.

With so many different perspectives it can be hard to know where to start - a little like walking into a crowded pub. Sorry about that.
